INFLUENTIAL WORK

  • Led assessment, design & implementation of enterprise wide reporting, analytics and insight function for major transport network impacting over 600 roles.

  • Built workforce planning model to determine future workforce requirements for major NSW electricity network following major expenditure reduction. Subsequently designed new operating model for both business support services & customer functions.

  • Undertook full enterprise wide organisation design for major transport infrastructure delivery office establishing itself as new transport agency responsible for plan, build and run of network.

  • Lead detailed redesign of End-to-End maintenance planning process for NZ transmission network to embed rolling planning & improve effectiveness.

  • Undertook multiyear efficiency benchmarking of complete opex base of 28 water utilities across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Delivered budget underspend analysis and expenditure modelling for major federal cluster, including both departmental and administered fund expenditure, to identify expenditure acceleration opportunities.

Art is an ex rugby & basketball diehard who is getting real tired of watching the wallabies get stomped by the all blacks. He has recently found peace however knowing that Paris 2024 will be the year the boomers finally take home the gold medal. 

Outside of sport he spends most of his free time dominating strategy card games (Magic the gathering) or putting the tactics back into turn based video games.
